Psychedelic Educators Network
Who We Are…
The Psychedelic Educators Network is dedicated to advancing the understanding and research of psychedelics through academic instruction. Our members, composed of faculty from diverse disciplines—including psychology, psychiatry, pharmacology, biochemistry, humanities, social work, nursing, anthropology, and more—are united in the pursuit of fostering informed discourse and innovative teaching methodologies in psychedelic studies.
As the landscape of psychedelic research continues to evolve, we strive to provide a platform for collaboration, sharing of resources, and the development of comprehensive curricula that reflect current findings and societal changes regarding psychedelics.
Our network not only emphasizes the academic rigor needed in teaching about psychedelics but also aims to address the ethical, cultural, and historical contexts that surround their use. By engaging with multidisciplinary perspectives, we prepare students to critically analyze the implications of psychedelics in research, therapy, and societal settings.
Together, we are committed to demystifying psychedelics and cultivating an environment in which open discussion and empirical inquiry can flourish within the academic sphere. Through our collective efforts, we aim to pave the way for future generations of scholars and practitioners who will continue to explore the complexities of psychedelics in a responsible and informed manner.
